Our youth are challenged everyday, they are exposed to many negative influences from different sources. Whether it be media, the internet, within schools, and neighborhoods there are many opportunities for our youth to be influenced negatively. Such influences can cause them to make a decision that could effect the rest of their lives. There is going to be peer pressure that they face. Youth group is a great way for the youth to get to know people their own age and start to get closer to God. They will come and build a solid foundation in Christ while having fun in the process. When they come they will have an opportunity to make a decision to get rid of some bad habits and start to make changes that will honor God.
Our youth group(ages 12-18) meets here at the church friday nights from 7-9:45pm. We have a time of worship and prayer, and a message from God’s word. We have fellowship following the service.
Our Youth Rallies happen usually the third Friday of the month. It’s held in different host churches each month. We have all of the youth groups from the Assemblies of God churches here in Queens worship and fellowship together at these rallies.
